We are always pleased to welcome new members from within the Aviation Industry to join the Association either as an Airport Member or an Associate Member. Principal benefits of AOA Membership for both Airports and Associates include: - Unrivalled access to a network of senior airport and related company representatives.
- Regular publications including our Annual Directory of Members and our quarterly journal the Airport Operator.
- Participation in major industry events including our Annual Dinner held in March which attracts over 1000 senior industry figures and is now regarded as the major social event in the aviation calendar, and our Annual Conference which is normally held in November.
For Airports - Participation in various committees and working groups dealing with issues, consultations and policy matters as they arise is limited to our Airport Members.
- Contribution to issue teams set-up to address particular matters as they arise. For example, to put together an AOA member response to a particular consultation, produce AOA endorsed material on specific sector areas, or work on ongoing long term issues.
- Access through the formal consultative processes to government, regulators and other policy makers responsible for the framework within which our industry operates.
For Associates - Excellent opportunities to network at some of the key events in the aviation industry.
- Associate Members are invited to sit on internal working groups relevant to their area of expertise and to give presentations at meetings and conferences.
We do have future plans to develop membership benefits for both Airports and Associate organisations by means of our member extranet service. This will allow access to ongoing issues, message boards and relevant papers using a bespoke service. Members will be able to maintain their own contact information, sign up for involvement in work in specific areas and register for events online.
