An airport parking provider has launched a new website which it claims has the quickest booking engine in the sector and has plenty of helpful information for passengers.

Purple Parking made the upgrade to its booking system and hopes the site will allow flyers to reserve their space within a few minutes.

Mark Hinge, managing director of the company, said: "We wanted to make the process quick and simple. The booking engine on the web site has gone through dozens of enhancements to make it as user-friendly as possible and I am delighted with the end result."

The company has 20 parking facilities at UK airports and controls the largest car park in the country at its Heathrow site, which provides spaces for around 10,000 vehicles.

In other news, teachers can now benefit from an agreement between the Association of Teachers and Lectures and Airport Parking and Hotels which means members of the association can receive cheaper parking at airports such as Gatwick.
