We hope you will agree it gives a fresh look to the journal of our association and marks another step along the road for a fresh, vibrant organisation, better placed than ever before to meet the challenges of representing such a diverse industrial service sector.

AOA has an ambitious, dynamic agenda planned for 2006. The Association is in the process of renewing its Business Plan to ensure maximum impact and is reinvigorating its Annual Conference and Exhibition, which this year takes place at the Royal Lancaster London – 13-15 November.

The Directors General of ACI EUROPE and EUROCONTROL – Roy Griffins and Victor Aguado respectively – launched ‘A Vision for European Aviation’ at a joint press conference in London in mid-January. This both sets out a Europe-wide plan to deal with the forecast doubling of traffic by 2020, and highlights the UK’s “better than average performance”.
