Scottish election manifesto 2021
The AOA’s manifesto for the 2021 Scottish Parliament elections sets out three priorities for how a new Scottish Government should rebuild Scotland’s aviation connectivity following COVID-19’s devastating impacts. These priorities are: a road-map for a meaningful restart of international travel, a vision for Scotland as a world leader in sustainable aviation and working with the UK Government on a border that’s fit for an outward-looking Scotland.

The AOA Election Manifesto sets out five points the AOA believes a new Government should prioritise: a strategy for sustainable aviation, a new legal framework for flights currently relying on EU-level agreements, airspace modernisation, a secure but welcoming UK border, and making Air Passenger Duty more competitive.
