AOA response to Transport Secretary’s ICAO speech

Commenting on the Transport Secretary’s call for international action to decarbonise global aviation at the International Civil Aviation Organization Assembly, Karen Dee, Chief Executive of the Airport Operators Association said:

“Despite the devastating impacts of the pandemic, UK airports remain committed to our net-zero emissions by 2050 target.

“We welcome the Transport Secretary’s call for greater international action to decarbonise aviation and look forward to building on the progress that we have made to date through a close and constructive working relationship between the UK Government and the UK aviation industry.”
