Reconnecting the UK: recovering aviation connectivity
Following the removal of all travel restrictions, Reconnecting the UK: recovering aviation connectivity sets out the challenge ahead: 2021 was the worst year for passenger numbers since 1983, airports lost £10bn in revenue during the pandemic and international competitors received more in financial support. The report makes recommendations to government on an aviation recovery package.

Decarbonisation Report
The AOA Decarbonisation Report sets out what UK airports have done to reduce energy use and increase renewable energy generation as well as their future plans on the road to net zero. This has halved emissions between 2010 and 2019 (see here). The report includes the work airports are doing to reduce aeronautical emissions.
